DAY 1 - Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal. One of our team will meet you at Kathmandu's International Airport to transfer you to our charming Kathmandu hotel. Its now time to settle in, relax, recover from your flights, discover the colour, sights and sounds of Thamel and do any last minute shopping you might need before the expedition. Flights come in at all times, so our team will meet as a group for our welcome dinner (included). Prior to dinner, meals are at your own expense on the day of your arrival. Accommodation will be in your own room for your first night.

Day 2 to 6 - Lower Seti
On the Moring of day 2 everyone will meet for breakfast in the hotel breakfast room, from here we will travel by bus to the Lower Seti River to begin our river adventures. On arrival at the Lower Seti we will fit our kayaks, enjoy a river lunch and get to know your full guide team. We will spend time learning about you and what we can do to best support you over the expedition. We will take some time to gauge peoples current skill sets and will progress to working on strokes, rolling and rescues, before setting up at our first beach camp and enjoying a home cooked local meal.

Day 3 to 5 will be spent slowly moving down stream, practicing skills and developing our confidence in all areas of kayaking. The lower Seti is a perfect warm up river, it moves through beautiful scenery, has warmer waters for rolling and provides a slow build up of rapids as the river progresses. On day 6 we will take off the river and share a locally cooked lunch before boarding the bus to head to the beautiful hilltop village of Bandipur. Bandipur offers us a unique taste of Newari culture and stunning views of the Himalaya's.

Day 7 - Lower Marshyadi River
The Lower Marshyadi river has numerous sections for us to choose from, we may slit the group or remain as one depending on  skill levels and people goals for the day. Our adventure to the river starts early as we meander up the valley past small villages and glimpses of the river below. On arrival at our put in village we will enjoy a local breakfast before paddling down stream for this scenic adventure. Todays lunch will be a basic river expedition lunch, with more local snakes and Nepali tea at the take out. From here we will travel to the famous tourist town of Pokhara to enjoy a well deserved rest day. The evening is yours to enjoy the wonders of Pokhara's Lakeside. Meals while in Pokhara are at your own expense and there is certainly no shortage of amazing restaurants to choose from.

Day 8 - Pokhara Rest Day
This is a fabulous time to recharge, view the beautiful Annapurna Mountain, enjoy wandering the streets or try an adventure activity such as paragliding, mountain flights or mountain biking. If your after more relaxing, Pokhara offers a huge variety of day spas, and outdoor movie garden and some great coffee!  Activities can be arranged by our team (additional costs) and meals are at your own expense while in Pokhara.

DAY 9 to 11 - Kaligandaki River

An early start sees us jump aboard the adventure bus to the Kaligandaki River. Named after the goddess Kail this holy river cuts through one of the deepest gorgeous of the world, a naturally beautiful river, high cliffs, sandy beaches and regular rapids, Kaligandaki is both stunning and humbling. This river has a few bigger rapids which we will scout, portage may be mandatory or optional on some rapids depending on skill levels, however most rapids offer us lines for all levels. On the last day we return to Pokhara to enjoy another evening of Pokhara delights (dinner is at your own expense).

Travel times vary on the road to Kathmandu, so today we depart early with breakfast and lunch on the way, hoping to arrive early afternoon we will enjoy the experience of some of Kathmandu's top tourist attractions and an early dinner (included). The evening will be yours to enjoy with the sights of Thamel just outside our hotel.

Day 14 to 18 - Sun Koshi Expedition
Now its time to enjoy your new skills in a longer river expedition. We are excited to share this beautiful river with you. Our put on is a major adventure just ot begin with. we need to portage all our gear past the rivers largest rapid to put on just down stream. Then the first raid is huge big waves. its a friendly step up rapid but we understand if you would like to walk and we are happy to run your boat for you. After that we enjoy a much more relaxed pace with longer stretches of moving water between fun and bounce grade 3 rapids. Occasionally we will find a larger rapid like on the Kaligandaki, we will scout and portage is always an option. The Sunkoshi offers amazing scenery, white beaches, deep green valleys and fun white water. On the last day we will take off and store our gear locally, then catch a bus to our put in on the Tamur river where we will enjoy a night of local food and celebration of our kayaking success.

Day 19 Tamur River - Rafting
Today is a rafting only day, this section is to much fun to miss with absoultly stunning scenery, but has a few grade 4 rapids. So today will be a quick decent by raft, filled with laughter and giving you a taste of other rivers still to paddle as your kayaking progresses. Finishing at the ame take out we will enjoy our last team lunch together before jumping aboard an overnight bus to Kathmandu.
